About GmailEmpty

GmailEmpty is an Android app designed to automatically empty the Trash in one or more Gmail accounts at user-selected time intervals.

The app lets users connect Gmail accounts, choose how often the Trash should be emptied, turn automatic emptying on or off for each account, and remove an account when it is no longer needed.

Once automatic emptying has been configured, the process is designed to continue without requiring the Android app to remain open. The automation is associated with the connected Google account rather than depending on the app continuously running on the phone.

Main features

  • Connect and manage multiple Gmail accounts.
  • Select a preset interval for automatically emptying Gmail Trash.
  • Turn automatic emptying on or off independently for each connected account.
  • Remove a connected account and its associated automation when no longer needed.
  • View the current status and settings for connected accounts.

Google account access

GmailEmpty requires the user to sign in with Google and grant the permissions necessary to configure and operate the requested Gmail Trash automation. Users remain in control of their connected accounts and can turn the feature off or remove an account.
